In 2009, our founder Jae Jun was frustrated. As a value investor following the principles of Graham and Buffett, he spent 80% of his time entering data into spreadsheets and only 20% actually analyzing businesses.
The existing tools were either prohibitively expensive Bloomberg terminals or free sites with unreliable, shallow data.
Old School Value was born to solve this specific problem: Automate the grunt work so investors can focus on thinking. What began as a series of Excel spreadsheets has evolved into a comprehensive web platform used by over 50,000 investors globally.
